The Director will be responsible for hypothesis and scope development, connecting with clients to facilitate information gathering, guiding client interviews, and ensuring that all relevant data is pursued and analyzed. This role requires a deep understanding of industry and functional knowledge to identify business drivers and issues, as well as the ability to develop actionable conclusions from analyses. In terms of project management and implementation, the Director will lead components of projects across multiple service lines and manage smaller projects independently. This includes proactively managing client expectations, minimizing risks, and developing straightforward actionable plans. The Director will also design initiatives aimed at generating cash and improving EBITDA, while anticipating potential risks and creating contingency plans. Collaboration with senior management is essential, as the Director must obtain buy-in from senior management and board members on actionable plans. Leadership is a critical aspect of this role, leveraging industry expertise and prior professional services experience to guide the team and promote innovative thinking. The Director will take accountability for issues identified by both clients and the team, building complementary teams that utilize individual talents effectively. Financial acumen is crucial, with complete proficiency in financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and accounting treatments being necessary to drive change management and streamline processes.
