About the position

The Director of CFO Services at A&M is responsible for providing strategic financial solutions to private equity-held portfolio companies. This role focuses on enhancing business performance, improving cash flow and EBITDA, and ensuring that portfolio companies have credible financial plans. The Director will lead various service lines, manage client expectations, and develop actionable strategies to drive value for clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop hypotheses and scope for client projects.
• Facilitate information gathering and client interviews.
• Define necessary analyses to validate assumptions.
• Apply industry knowledge to identify business drivers and issues.
• Develop frameworks based on project parameters.
• Create actionable conclusions from analyses.
• Lead components of projects and manage smaller projects independently.
• Proactively manage client expectations and mitigate risks.
• Design cash-generating initiatives and optimal organizational structures.
• Engage with senior management to obtain buy-in on plans.
• Leverage industry expertise to guide teams and promote innovative thinking.
• Take accountability for client and team issues.
• Build teams using individual talents and capabilities.
• Achieve proficiency in financial modeling and statement analysis.
• Drive P&L and balance sheet accountability.
• Utilize tools for change management and streamline processes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited 4-year college/university in accounting, finance, or economics preferred but not required.
• Over 12 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking, or Private Equity.
• Proficiency in financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills.
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master's Degree preferred but not required.
