About the position

The Enterprise Risk Organization (ERO) Chief of Staff Team plays a pivotal role in leading governance and oversight for various senior management committee and Board activities, while also supporting broader ERO initiatives related to strategy, reporting, and culture. We are in search of a highly motivated risk management professional who possesses exceptional project management, problem-solving, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience collaborating with senior leaders and will be a big-picture thinker who is organized, passionate about identifying and driving continuous improvement, and capable of delivering innovative solutions. In this Chief of Staff role, you will have the opportunity to wear many hats and make a significant impact on the ERO organization. You will gain high-level exposure across ERO and work closely with senior leaders to create and implement innovative solutions aimed at identifying and mitigating potential risks to the Company. In this role, you will lead the well-managed strategy and execution of our Executive Risk Committee (ERC) and Technology, Operational, Compliance, and Cyber (TOCC) processes, supporting an Executive Committee (EC) and Executive Vice President (EVP) leader, respectively. You will also oversee the strategy, continuous improvement, and execution of the quarterly Integrated Risk Management Report (IRMR) for our Board of Directors, while managing additional ERO inputs and requests for Board meetings in support of our Chief Enterprise Risk Officer (CERO). Furthermore, you will lead our data-driven ERO Imperatives action plan and assist Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) with ongoing prioritization work to ensure we are making progress on our most critical initiatives. Your responsibilities will also include developing and enhancing processes, tools, templates, and job aids, as well as creating executive-ready presentations and materials for dual Chief Risk Officer attestation. You will partner with External Affairs to draft and support Regulator preparation documents for our CERO and assist the ERO Chief of Staff in building and fostering an ERO management system that incorporates the interaction model and systems in place to support our CERO. Additionally, you will collaborate horizontally with our Credit and Financial Risk Management (CFRM) Chief of Staff partners and broader ERO leads and chiefs of staff on ERO-wide projects, which may include governance processes and deliverables, as well as people and culture initiatives. As needed, you will also provide ad-hoc consulting or operational support to major Chief of Staff projects or organizational needs and opportunities.
