About the position

The Director of Client Services and Operations for Property and Casualty is responsible for managing relationships with insurance carriers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and overseeing a team to optimize customer service and operational efficiency. This role involves data analysis, technology management, and strategic leadership to enhance the agency's offerings and performance in the insurance market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture strong relationships with insurance carriers to ensure clients have access to the best coverage options.
• Secure new agency appointments, negotiate competitive rates, and onboard new carriers.
• Stay informed of all carrier changes and communicate information to agency employees.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory license and compliance standards across all states.
• Respond to audits or inquiries by state governing agencies and ensure accurate documentation of procedures and policies.
• Analyze trends and advise executive leadership using data insights.
• Manage technology infrastructure and collaborate with third-party technology partners.
• Oversee a team, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
• Prepare presentations related to agency performance and market conditions.
• Provide analysis of agency financials for performance, forecasting, and budgeting guidance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing a team of 5-20 employees.
• 5+ years' experience in the insurance industry, particularly in a carrier liaison or similar role.
• Experience with creating data analytics tools and managing IT projects.
• Proficiency in AMS 360 and Salesforce software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and customers.
