About the position

The Director of Client Services Projects at Thermo Fisher Scientific is responsible for leading a team of Commercial Solutions Managers and providing expertise in Clinical Supply Solutions and Strategy. This role involves collaborating with Sales leaders and Account Executives to meet client expectations and ensure consistent business results, while also advocating for continuous process improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as Clinical Supply Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting Sales and Account Executives globally.
  • Assesses customer needs, seeks collaborative solutions, proposes sound clinical supply strategies, translates requirements to quotations group and supports Commercial team in customer presentations and closing of business.
  • Meets and consults with customers as needed with sales to support the creation of robust end to end service offerings.
  • Works with the Sr. Manager of Program Coordination to align CDAs and MSAs with incoming requests. Provides assistance with QBR/MBR and RFI client materials.
  • Leads incoming portfolio of requests for quotes or information in support of sales executives, quoting teams, and leadership and to provide technical expertise on study design, packaging solutions, project timelines, and quote development/review.
  • Leads and directs the Commercial Solutions Team to ensure customer needs, business targets, and operational objectives are achieved.
  • Leads and advocates a culture of proactive Continuous Process Improvement.
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical services industry, with a preference for understanding clinical trials, clinical supply, and CTD business services.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, verbal, written and numerical skills with the ability to analyze and define solutions and lead multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong and effective interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and clients.
  • Strong customer leadership skills; proactively anticipates, understands, and responds to the needs of internal and external clients to meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Experience with both detail execution and strategic orientation.
  • Accredited college, university or recognized professional degree, preferably in a health related field.
  • 10 years of shown experience within the pharmaceutical services industry.
  • 10 years management experience.
