About the position

The Director, Clinical Enterprise will have operational and strategic responsibilities for a portfolio of physician practices, ambulatory care settings and/or programmatic leadership within a service line. We are hiring for 3 Directors: 1 for our urgent care service line, 1 for our primary care service line, and 1 for our ambulatory specialty portfolio which includes dermatology, rheumatology, and pediatrics, among others. All positions will be based in Columbus, OH but will have responsibilities at all of our care sites across Central Ohio. The position will be responsible for the ongoing operational execution of the defined service line clinical programs, engaging with highly matrixed relationships throughout the enterprise and with all business units. This role will partner with physician and administrative leadership teams to drive successful efforts to support service line, medical group, and care site goals on delivering on the value equation of quality, service, and cost efficiency, while maintaining an exceptional provider and staff culture. This role reports to a Sr Director or Vice President, Clinical Enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Operational and strategic management of physician practices and ambulatory care settings.
  • Engagement with matrixed relationships throughout the enterprise.
  • Partnership with physician and administrative leadership teams.
  • Drive efforts to support service line, medical group, and care site goals.
  • Ensure quality, service, and cost efficiency in clinical programs.
  • Maintain an exceptional provider and staff culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred).
  • 7+ years healthcare management and/or strategy leadership experience.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven track record in management and direction of primary and secondary healthcare services.
  • Effective physician relationship building.
  • Knowledge of JCAHO, Medicare and other regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Performance measures- and outcomes-driven; collaboration and collegiality; problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
