About the position
The Director of Clinical Operations at Clinical Resource Network (CRN) is responsible for developing and executing clinical development plans and strategies that align with the organization's corporate goals. This role involves managing clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing project planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute clinical strategy in alignment with corporate goals and objectives
- Design, implement, and conduct Phase 1-3 clinical trials within established budgets and timelines, in compliance with GCP and appropriate regulations
- Responsible for clinical project planning and execution, including timeline and budget management, identification of project risks and contingency planning, preparation of study-related materials, supervision of study-related activities, and authoring of study protocols and reports
- Author/review study documents such as study protocols, informed consent documents, Investigator's Brochures, pharmacy manuals, and monitoring plans
- Accountable for all clinical trial timelines, budget, CRO oversight, vendor partnerships, and study sites as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or advanced degree desired
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- 10 years of managerial oversight of teams and clinical trial management, both US and Global
- Experience with pediatric and/or infectious disease trials is highly desired
