About the position

The Director of Cloud and Digital Platform Security is a strategic leadership role responsible for enhancing the security posture of the organization across public cloud environments and digital platforms. This position involves developing and implementing security strategies, policies, and practices to protect the organization from threats while ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role requires collaboration with IT, Development, and product teams to integrate security into all technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud security strategy for AWS environments.
• Oversee the security of digital platforms, including web applications, mobile apps, and APIs.
• Establish security protocols for AI models and applications.
• Lead efforts to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Build and manage a high-performing security team.
• Foster a culture of security awareness through training and communication initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and product teams to ensure security is prioritized.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in information security, focusing on cloud and application security.
• 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Demonstrated skills in designing security architectures for cloud and application environments.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud security architectures and best practices.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application vulnerabilities.
• Experience with integrating security practices into DevOps workflows.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with security testing methodologies (e.g., SAST, DAST).
• Understanding of modern application development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps).
