About the position
The Director of Commercial Finance at Hearthside Food Solutions is responsible for overseeing the pricing process from inception to completion. This role involves collaboration with Sales and Operations to develop costing models and provide strategic guidance. The Director will also play a key role in evaluating strategic capital investments and leading the Commercial Finance team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Commercial Finance Team and develop high-performing team members.
- Establish pricing policies and ensure adherence to established hurdle rates.
- Review all pricing proposals appropriately.
- Establish processes for timely and accurate pricing maintenance of existing business.
- Provide strategic advice and analysis to the Sales team for new sales opportunities.
- Co-develop the annual revenue budget.
- Assist in contract review as needed.
- Provide analysis and input on strategic new business development.
- Establish target hurdle rates for pricing.
- Provide financial support for all new Capital Asset Requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Minimum of 8 years of finance experience.
- Extensive pricing experience required.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a multi-site/multi-equipment contract manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
