About the position

The Director of Community Health Partnerships at CareOregon is responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance community health across the Metro region. This role involves overseeing community engagement initiatives, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and managing relationships with community leaders and stakeholders. The position requires a focus on operational leadership, strategic planning, and resource management to improve health outcomes and address health disparities.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the CCO's efforts to meet OHA requirements for community engagement and health improvement plans.
  • Partner with community leaders to develop and oversee programs that align with CCO strategic goals.
  • Lead initiatives for the Metro region, ensuring effective community input and implementation of advisory council charters.
  • Create and present dashboards for the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) goals and strategies.
  • Develop and monitor performance against annual goals established in the CCO Community Health Improvement Plan.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure alignment with strategic plans and community health initiatives.
  • Build effective relationships with internal teams and external organizations for community health initiatives.
  • Direct and supervise the Community Engagement Team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of related experience, including 5 years in healthcare, managed care, or community development.
  • Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.

Nice-to-haves

  • Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience leading complex projects in a CCO environment.

Benefits

  • Estimated hiring range of $136,550 - $166,850 per year.
  • 10% bonus target.
