About the position

As the Director of Configuration Operations at Abarca Health, you will lead the pharmacy operations team to deliver quality-focused configuration solutions to clients. This role involves managing all aspects of configuration, ensuring adherence to quality processes, and engaging with various departments and external stakeholders. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining client relationships, conducting data analysis, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee configuration operations teams, providing strategic direction and mentorship.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients at an executive level.
  • Conduct high-level data analysis to identify trends and opportunities, developing strategic recommendations.
  • Lead the development of communication strategies to convey configuration options and recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless configuration and service delivery.
  • Conduct advanced gap analysis to evaluate complex client requirements and provide insights for solution design.
  • Lead training programs for clients and internal teams on advanced configuration tools and processes.
  • Oversee post-implementation activities, resolving advanced configuration issues and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Propose and lead enhancements to improve configuration efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for advanced product enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering, Business or Health Administration (or equivalent relevant work experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in pharmacy benefit management and external regulator guidelines.
  • Experience in a leadership role overseeing teams and developing them.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects without missing deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with Azure and SQL.
  • Pharmacy Technician accreditation.
  • Project Management Certification/Experience.
