Responsibilities

  • Lead and define the strategy for content creation, management, and distribution across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Lead and inspire a team of content experts to create their best work.
  • Craft, edit, and oversee a wide array of content including articles and email campaigns.
  • Build an event content development function for annual partner events and industry forums.
  • Develop thought leadership content that highlights Expedia Group's innovation.
  • Maintain a content calendar, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Public Relations, Marketing, and Commercial teams to deliver strategic content.
  • Drive content innovation by identifying emerging trends and technologies.
  • Track and measure content performance, optimizing strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Manage content workflows, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Oversee the allocation of resources, ensuring that content teams work efficiently and within budget constraints.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in content creation, editing, and management within a fast-paced, global organization.
  • Proven experience leading teams and driving cross-functional collaboration, particularly with marketing, product, and communication teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to align content strategies with broader business and marketing objectives.
  • Experience in thought leadership development, including research.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and optimizing content workflows, prioritizing resources effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Passion for producing high-quality content that drives measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform content strategies and measure their impact.
  • Strategic thinker who can see the big picture but also attends to detail.
