About the position

The Director, Contracted Services Management, Global Human Health is responsible for leading a team that manages rebate and discount contracting activities for Organon's products in the US. This role involves collaboration with various internal teams and external customers to drive sales and ensure compliance with contracting strategies. The position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial analysis skills to optimize product access and contract performance.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing a team of Associate Directors.
  • Managing the organizational structure regarding segment/account assignments and point responsibilities.
  • Providing management oversight to all contract executions and collaborating with internal stakeholders in Legal, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, Pricing, and Operations.
  • Managing and refining data analysis tools to model the addition of Organon products to customer formularies.
  • Managing and co-developing contracting SOPs and ensuring compliance across the team.
  • Providing management oversight of a repository to securely store and maintain all relevant contracting documents.
  • Leading collaboration with Business Units and Account Directors to enhance business relationships with assigned Payer accounts.
  • Providing management oversight of customer and segment specific business analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting.
  • Managing profitable product access, optimizing net sales, and contract performance across Organon's portfolio.
  • Assessing future contracting opportunities and developing strategic account plans for assigned customer accounts.
  • Monitoring market access segment trends and designing segment initiatives.
  • Communicating with brand, payer brand marketing, senior leadership, legal, finance, and other HQ personnel to share insights and expertise.

Requirements

  • BA or BS required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a Managed Care related field.
  • Experience in leading teams, direct account management, customer contracting, and financial analysis.
  • Pharmaceutical experience required.
  • Working knowledge of both utilization-based and purchase-based contracting.
  • Process-oriented with strong project management skills.
  • High compliance IQ.
  • Demonstrated business acumen through experience in Marketing, Sales, and/or Managed Care business.
  • Strategic and tactical planning skills.
  • Strong analytic background and Excel skills.
  • Negotiation and effective communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or equivalent desired.
  • Broad understanding of US Health Care and product contracting environment.
  • Experience with pricing and reimbursement in the US.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with a broad range of leaders.
