About the position

As a Director of Creative Asset Management at Starcom, you will be instrumental in overseeing the workflow of creative assets associated with digital media campaigns. This role requires collaboration with internal media activation and operations teams, as well as external stakeholders, to ensure the smooth management of video and custom program development. Your primary responsibilities will include managing production timelines, technical specifications, and the routing of digital display, video, and other creative assets between clients, internal teams, creative agencies, and media partners. You will also assist the media team in building creative decks that illustrate the media plan and play a key role in presenting these plans to clients. In this position, you will be responsible for scheduling and leading creative kick-off calls with both internal and external stakeholders. You will create and manage specification sheets in collaboration with the media team, ensuring that all necessary details are communicated clearly. Daily communication regarding the status of pending, complete, or at-risk items will be a critical part of your role, as will managing the custom program development process. This includes performing initial quality assurance checks on delivered creative assets to confirm that they meet the required specifications, such as file type, size, and clip length. Additionally, you will work closely with the operations team to ensure that creative assets are trafficked and set live correctly and on time. Building creative decks and discussing specification needs, timelines, and best practices during client meetings will also be part of your responsibilities. Your ability to manage multiple complex campaigns simultaneously, along with your strong project management skills, will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and leading creative kick-off calls with internal and external stakeholders
  • Creating and managing spec sheets in collaboration with media
  • Providing clear daily communication related to status and next steps for all pending, complete, or at-risk items
  • Managing custom program development, including production timelines and routing of assets between client, creative agencies, and media partner
  • Performing initial QA of delivered creative assets to confirm that all expected items have been received and meet basic spec requirements (such as file type, file size, and clip length)
  • Communicating with operations team to ensure creative assets are trafficked and set live correctly and on time
  • Building creative decks and speak to spec needs, timelines, and best practices at client meetings

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience working at a creative or media agency
  • Experience supporting clients in the entertainment industry preferred
  • Foundational knowledge of digital media creative specs, IAB standards, and related concepts
  • Ability to manage multiple complex campaigns simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills (time management, organization, and prioritization)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; strong Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently across disciplines with colleagues, clients, and partners at all levels
  • Basic knowledge of Google Campaign Manager or Studio is a plus
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with the ability to think unconventionally in proposing solutions
