About the position

The Director of Creative Direction at BetterUp, Inc. is responsible for leading a small team of designers and copywriters to create innovative and engaging creative executions across digital and physical platforms. This role involves collaboration with various disciplines to ensure brand consistency and effective marketing initiatives, while also managing creative processes and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of designers, copywriters, and agency partners to create forward-thinking creative executions and engaging experiences.
  • Partner across multiple disciplines including brand, strategy, experiential, product marketing, production, community, and growth to ensure brand consistency.
  • Conduct collaborative and effective ideation and creative review processes to enhance creative strategy and execution.
  • Review and rebuild creative processes as needed to adapt to business scaling and team shifts.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships to align on brand creative strategy and workflow processes.
  • Maintain a network of world-class creative and agency talent to support marketing needs.
  • Source creative support from individuals and agencies as projects require.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related position.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in Global Creative Brand Strategy.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in Creative Direction including global advertising, design, and brand development.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in cross-functional stakeholder management and collaboration.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in large-scale team management training with a focus on mentorship and development.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in global omni-channel marketing and creative ideation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Experience in conceptual and on-site art direction for photo and video.
  • Experience in experiential event management.
  • Familiarity with Hubspot.
