About the position

The Director, Creative Services at (W)right On Communications is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing and enhancing the agency's creative services. This position involves managing a team to deliver a wide range of creative outputs, including graphic design, branding, and multimedia content, while also contributing to the agency's growth and client partner branding strategies. The role requires a strategic approach to creative development and a commitment to staying current with industry trends and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee client partner creative services including graphic design, branding, print, digital/web, and marketing communications.
  • Develop and execute creative strategies while managing the Creative Services team and collaborating with other agency employees and contractors.
  • Maintain strong client partner relationships through proactive communication and quality assurance.
  • Introduce new approaches and stay current with trends in digital design and technologies.
  • Manage agency resources to meet client partner deliverables and expectations.
  • Provide creative project management and internal reporting.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities related to Creative Services projects.
  • Support agency brand and marketing through Creative Services strategies and public speaking.
  • Source and manage internal and contracted resources for optimal program performance.
  • Manage and develop direct reports through performance reviews and coaching.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of creative services experience with client campaign and project management.
  • Strong graphic design skills with a robust portfolio.
  • Experience in branding, marketing communication, web design, and video editing.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in commercial or graphic design.
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and teams effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ethical and human-guided AI creative concepting and production.
  • Familiarity with virtual reality, augmented reality, and holography (3D).
  • Strong vendor relationships and knowledge of creative trends.
