About the position

In this role, you will lead our content and design teams and maintain the highest standards of creative services work. You will manage the output of the content and design teams, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring that all production is on brand, technically compliant, and aligned with our brand standards, creating a consistent experience across Vizient. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to create visually engaging designs that effectively communicate complex industry information to healthcare executives. You will also play a key role in triaging creative services requests, optimizing operations, managing outsourced relationships, and fostering positive relationships within the department and across Vizient. Your responsibilities will include setting and maintaining content and design work standards by directly supervising the editing and design teams, conducting tactical reviews, and providing constructive feedback to ensure brand compliance and adherence to design standards. You will manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and fluctuating workloads within a high-volume, fast-turnaround production environment. This includes the ability to reshuffle priorities for both the editing and design teams as needed. Proactively identifying and resolving obstacles to ensure the highest standard of work while optimizing workflow and efficient use of Creative Services resources will be crucial. You will generate ideas for operational improvements that align with the evolving needs of the organization, triage creative service requests, balance workloads between short-term and long-term projects, and collaborate with project managers to determine whether projects should be handled in-house or outsourced. Additionally, you will manage relationships with outsourced agencies, vendors, and/or AI software capabilities, evaluate systems, templates, processes, and tools to make recommendations that optimize operational efficiencies and meet the organization's needs. Creating monthly operational metrics reports based on bandwidth, capacity, work completed, work in progress, and a review of work tasked to the Creative Services team will also be part of your role. Strong leadership skills will be essential as you effectively manage a team of designers, editors, and contractors, while also mentoring other team members to promote a culture of excellence and collaboration within the Creative Services department.
