About the position

The Director of Customer Logistics is responsible for leading the Customer Logistics team to ensure a best-in-class customer experience, driving competitive advantage through proactive customer engagement. This role involves setting strategic goals, collaborating across multiple groups, and promoting a united vision to achieve departmental objectives. The Director will also focus on performance metrics to ensure high-quality service delivery and participate in industry conferences to implement leading practices.

Responsibilities

  • Directs subordinate managers to prioritize tasks efficiently to meet customer demand.
  • Guides managers in resolving customer inquiries and demands using expert knowledge of customer needs.
  • Develops and drives performance metrics to ensure quality customer service.
  • Ensures alignment with processes and quality standards across the team.
  • Participates in industry conferences to deploy optimal customer engagement practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6-10 years of relevant experience in customer logistics or a related field.
  • Preferred 11-15 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's Degree (BS, MBA) is preferred.
  • Understanding of systems used by Marketing and Customer Logistics departments.
  • Knowledge of customer logistics support systems and customer channel strategies.
