About the position

The Customer Strategy Director at Parexel Medical Communications is responsible for driving growth and innovation within the organization. This role serves as the primary client relationship lead and strategic business partner for prospective clients, focusing on developing and expanding new business opportunities. The director will collaborate with the Account Management team to identify growth opportunities with established clients and lead the sales proposal and pitch process, ensuring client satisfaction through tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth and innovation for Parexel Medical Communications.
• Serve as the client relationship lead and strategic business partner for prospective clients.
• Develop and expand new business opportunities in collaboration with Commercial and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Support the Account Management team in identifying and realizing business growth opportunities with established clients.
• Lead the sales proposal and pitch process, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to achieve their objectives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in life sciences, pharma, biotech, or consulting.
• 7+ years in a medical communications role.
• 2+ years of experience in business development or creating strategic solutions.
• Demonstrable personal achievement with proven leadership skills.
• Proven understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech marketplace and evolving needs.
• Experience in preparing business plans and strategies.
• Proven success in acquiring new clients and securing new business awards.
• Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Ability to develop relationships with a culturally diverse group of stakeholders.
