The Director of Data Design and Architecture at Advantage Solutions will play a pivotal role in driving the company's Data Governance initiatives. This position is responsible for the definition and activation of a cross-functional Data Governance council, as well as the design and implementation of Data Quality and Catalog capabilities. The overarching goal is to support the Data and Analytics (D&A) strategy for Advantage Solutions and its clients. The Director will ensure that a single, high-quality version of the truth is delivered across all functional areas of data, centralizing the approach to Data Governance through robust Data Quality and Data Cataloguing capabilities. This will facilitate consistency and reuse of business rules, enabling speed and scalability across all areas of Data & Analytics, ultimately contributing to the establishment of an Enterprise data foundation for all data products. In this role, the Director will execute a comprehensive, cross-functional data-centric delivery in Governance and Data Quality that is designed to be efficient and effective, serving multiple needs within the organization. The position requires a deep competency in Data Quality and Data Cataloguing, ensuring that these capabilities interconnect with critical points of data ingestion, curation, governance, analytical data hierarchies, and data commercialization and democratization. The Director will partner with various teams to ensure alignment of deliverables with the overall success of the program and will be responsible for the ongoing support and success of all deliverables. This role also includes supervisory responsibilities, where the Director will hire, retain, train, coach, guide, direct, and develop direct reports using company-wide processes, tools, and resources. Additionally, the Director may delegate work to indirect reports and provide guidance and mentoring as needed.
