About the position

The Director of Demand Planning for Global Categories at Hasbro is responsible for leading demand planning activities for the Global Play Leader Brand. This role focuses on improving demand forecasting, ensuring supply chain management, and optimizing inventory control to drive sales and revenue growth. The position requires collaboration with various sales roles and business units to synthesize data-driven insights and enhance forecasting methodologies. The Director will also lead the implementation of advanced AI tools for promotional planning and work closely with the Global Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team to ensure alignment across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead demand planning activities for the Global Play Leader Brand.
• Improve forecasting metrics and efficiency through organizational coordination and analytics-based processes.
• Deliver sales value to the baseline forecast by coaching sales stakeholders.
• Ensure standardized processes for data entry related to demand impacts.
• Support the monthly Global Demand Management Review and drive consensus forecasts.
• Collaborate with the Global IBP Owner to align commercial demand planning globally.
• Implement an advanced AI-enabled promotional planning tool integrated with demand planning applications.
• Identify system capability improvement opportunities and implement changes.
• Participate in S&OP and IBP processes to close demand gaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Operations/Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, or related discipline.
• 10-15 years of experience in sales planning, demand planning, or supply chain.
• Proven track record of developing reliable forecasts incorporating various market factors.
• Experience in sales forecasting, demand modeling, and allocation.
• Demonstrated collaboration and influencing skills across functions.
