About the position

The Measurement & Attribution team at Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a skilled data analyst to design and build measurement and insights tools that provide value to the team and clients. This role involves data enablement, quick analyses of large datasets, and collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements and test prototypes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and data engineering, particularly with cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize SQL to query data from WBD and partners to help the business understand vendor offerings and methodological differences.
  • Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to manage and manipulate large datasets to fit business needs.
  • Develop and maintain automation jobs for data processing tasks and workflows.
  • Create and maintain web-based user interfaces (e.g. measurement & analytic dashboards) using Python to facilitate data access, operations, and visualization for internal stakeholders.
  • Support measurement and insights groups with Ad Sales Research with all immediate advanced data needs.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience at a media measurement company, ad-tech company, or publisher/programmer supporting ad sales with experience in the development of reporting dashboards, analytic tools, and media-related tools.
  • Proven experience in SQL and data querying.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation and web development.
  • Experience with Snowflake/Databricks or similar data platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to run concurrent projects across different business groups.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Must have legal right to work in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with other programming languages and tools (e.g., R, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Solid knowledge of cross-platform measurement.
