The Director of the Digital Laboratory (Dental) at Scarsdale Oral Surgery is responsible for overseeing the design and fabrication of dental prosthetics, ensuring high-quality patient care and satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Follow instructions from dentists, surgeons, and lab manager to design and fabricate dental prosthetics.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines and handle last-minute rush cases.
- Communicate professionally with team members and patients.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of the workspace.
- Order and monitor lab supplies and equipment.
- Meet quality standards regarding dental prosthetics and establish safety and health protocols.
- Review surgical guide designs with dentists and surgeons.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year CAD laboratory experience (preferred, but willing to train).
- Completion of an accredited dental laboratory program or CDT certification is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills.
- 1 year experience in dental prosthetics is required.
- Familiarity with dental lab equipment, materials, and instruments.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with 3shape Design software and 3shape Trios scanning software and hardware.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software for dental milling and 3D printing.
