About the position

The Marketing Technology team at Fidelity Investments is seeking a Director of Marketing Automation to spearhead the design and implementation of innovative solutions utilizing cloud technologies. This pivotal role involves collaborating with business partners to understand their needs and translating those requirements into effective technical solutions that integrate seamlessly with our Marketing Technology Stack. The Director will also be responsible for tracking the effectiveness of these solutions to ensure they meet business objectives and drive measurable outcomes. In this position, you will leverage your extensive experience in developing marketing technology strategies specifically tailored for Financial Services, both B2B and B2C. You will demonstrate your expertise in connecting data ecosystems to create fully integrated cross-channel customer journeys. As a tech lead, you will coach and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team. Your proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and other marketing technology applications will be crucial in executing complex digital programs that enhance customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of industry best practices related to digital customer experiences, including the ability to implement integrated customer journeys. You will be expected to present confidently and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring that marketing strategies and platform capabilities are well understood and utilized to their fullest potential. Your proactive approach will drive improvements in processes and business outcomes, ultimately enhancing customer experiences through agile working teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative marketing automation solutions leveraging cloud technologies.

Requirements

  • Experience in solutioning and developing Martech strategies for Financial Services organizations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in connecting data ecosystems for integrated customer journeys.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM.
  • Ability to work comfortably in Agile methodology.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in implementing complex digital programs using cloud-based technology.
