As the Director of Digital Marketing, you will perform as a strategic leader responsible for leading digital marketing initiatives at Adventist Health. This role involves managing and coordinating efforts across the digital ecosystem to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies that drive engagement, growth, and brand awareness while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and healthcare standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and communication, IT, consumer digital, and external partners to execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing digital marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices. You will maintain and develop digital policies, standards, and processes to ensure best practices are implemented and followed. Identifying opportunities to leverage digital tools and platforms to solve business challenges, improve return on marketing investment, and enhance consumer engagement and experience will be key to your success. In this role, you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. You will manage and optimize the marketing tech stack, ensuring a seamless user experience, mobile optimization, and compliance with privacy and accessibility standards. Additionally, you will oversee web development partners and web processes across an ecosystem of domains, ensuring the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, search engines, and display advertising with internal and agency partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Maintain and develop digital policies, standards, and processes to ensure best practices are implemented and followed.

  • Ensure a seamless user experience, mobile optimization, and compliance with privacy and accessibility standards.
  • Oversee web development partners and web processes across an ecosystem of domains.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, search engines, and display advertising with internal and agency partners.
  • Collaborate with agency partners to ensure cohesive and strategic campaign execution.
  • Ensure campaigns are data-driven, leveraging analytics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the utilization of Adventist Health's marketing CRM for campaign management.
  • Direct the creation and management of high-quality digital content that engages and informs our target audiences.
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and message alignment.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive paid search performance.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO and SEM metrics, making data-driven decisions to enhance visibility and traffic.
  • Grow Adventist Health's reputation and improve access for patients by leading and expanding our online reputation management strategy and processes, including listings and reviews.
  • Work closely with internal partners, including marketing and communication, IT, consumer digital, legal, and compliance, to ensure a safe, cohesive, and comprehensive approach to digital marketing strategy and adoption of new technologies.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, including digital agencies and digital marketing technology providers.
  • Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to track, measure, and report on digital marketing performance.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve ROI and achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Master's Degree: Preferred
  • Seven years' experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of successful campaign management and team leadership: Preferred
  • Five years' leadership experience: Preferred
  • Healthcare experience: Preferred
