The Pearson US Higher Education Marketing team is seeking a Director of Digital Marketing to lead the digital marketing team. This role is pivotal in planning, executing, measuring, and optimizing digital campaigns that contribute to share and revenue growth. The Director will be responsible for delivering leads to the sales team and developing and optimizing self-service adoption journeys. The position requires a strategic mindset to establish high-level digital marketing strategies, KPIs, and lead generation/revenue goals in collaboration with the Senior Director of Content Marketing. In this role, the Director will work closely with the Directors of Product Marketing to understand the goals of product portfolio go-to-market plans and lead the development of campaigns designed to achieve those goals. The Director will lead a team of Campaign Specialists, overseeing the development and execution of digital campaigns that exceed defined KPIs and lead generation/revenue goals. A key aspect of the role involves measuring and reporting on the impact of digital campaigns, using data to optimize campaigns in real-time and inform ongoing campaign strategy and tactics. Additionally, the Director will partner with the Sales Development team to ensure that the digital marketing team is delivering quality leads and continuously improving the lead generation and qualification process. The role also involves working with technology and operations teams to create and optimize frictionless product discovery and adoption experiences for customers through effective use of marketing technology and improving the usability and functionality of the website.
