The Digital Marketing Director is responsible for the strategic direction of proactive, integrated, and effective digital marketing solutions within MercyOne. This role provides ministry oversight and leadership of integrated digital marketing strategies, including the development and implementation of digital growth and consumer engagement plans that reflect the digital interaction of the customer and support the organization's strategic plan. The Director is accountable for all aspects of digital marketing platform technologies and consumer engagement initiatives, setting performance metrics, measuring, and modifying strategies to achieve a positive return on investment. In this position, the Director leads the digital marketing team and platforms, which include consumer websites, CRM, marketing automation (email, mobile), and digital health programs. The role involves overseeing MercyOne's digital content development and brand initiatives to support the website and CRM/email marketing. Operationally, the Director supports digital marketing platform business case analysis and budgets, ensuring that all digital marketing efforts align with the organization's mission and values. The Director is expected to create digital marketing strategies and plans for key technology platforms, focusing on website management, CRM, marketing automation, and online reviews. This includes directing timely updates of new information on all websites, online listings, and rankings, as well as developing and maintaining strong working relationships with health ministry executives, operations leaders, and other stakeholder groups. Mentorship and guidance for the digital marketing team are also key responsibilities, fostering collaboration and staff development to facilitate excellence in digital marketing and maintain strong colleague engagement. Additionally, the Director leads the ministry's CRM and marketing automation functions, ensuring effective data integrations and process development. The role requires advising the Vice President of Marketing and Communications and the Executive Leadership Team on digital marketing engagement strategies and trends across healthcare and consumer sectors. The Director also approves budgets and resource allocations across digital marketing functions, constructing business cases as necessary, while maintaining adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
