About the position

The Director of Digital Marketing at Kitsap Credit Union is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and enhancing the digital website experience and acquisition channels. This position requires strong communication skills to engage with all levels of the organization and involves team leadership and development. The role focuses on executing digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, enhance brand awareness, and achieve measurable results aligned with the organization's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own and run the Credit Union's website, partnering with the online banking team to manage design, functionality, and outcomes.
  • Execute digital marketing strategies in collaboration with internal and external resources to drive traffic and enhance brand awareness.
  • Conceptualize, research, and recommend data-driven digital marketing strategies in collaboration with a cross-functional team.
  • Administer digital marketing solutions software for marketing automation and omni-channel personalization, ensuring effective integration with existing technology.
  • Negotiate and administer vendor contracts and services related to digital marketing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with digital marketing/advertising policies, privacy laws, and regulations.
  • Develop and manage the digital marketing budget for the Vice President of Marketing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external sources to create high-quality content for online/mobile platforms.
  • Develop and manage effective search engine marketing and search engine optimization programs.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership for adoption.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, particularly in managing websites and digital acquisition channels.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and manage teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of digital ad buying, KPIs, best practices, and performance reporting.
  • Experience with CRM principles and familiarity with the Salesforce tool suite is a plus.
  • Ability to conceptualize and implement data-driven marketing strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Strong negotiation skills for managing vendor contracts and services.
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
