About the position

The Director, Digital Media Strategy at INNOCEAN is a senior leadership role focused on developing and executing high-level digital strategies for the Kia media team. This position requires a strong understanding of digital ecosystems and analytics, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and ensure alignment with client business objectives in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and execution of high-level digital strategies aligned with client business objectives.
  • Sift through large amounts of data to pinpoint critical insights and actionable strategies.
  • Provide leadership in leveraging advanced digital tools and analytics to translate complex data into clear strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for increased synergy across internal teams, clients, and external partners.
  • Dive into media performance data to uncover actionable insights and develop data-backed recommendations for improvement.
  • Summarize complex reports and findings into succinct insights for diverse stakeholders.
  • Drive digital innovation by testing new technologies and methodologies.
  • Oversee the development of measurement frameworks that track performance and provide insightful takeaways.
  • Proactively identify challenges within digital execution and create tailored strategies to overcome obstacles.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of digital media or digital strategy experience in an advertising or media agency environment.
  • Automotive category experience is required.
  • Proven track record in roles requiring both strategic oversight and technical execution.
  • Strong ability to question assumptions and filter through data to identify important information.
  • Technical proficiency in the digital media landscape, including paid media, programmatic, social, and content marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills to summarize key insights for diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and align on strategy.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
  • Familiarity with CM360 and GA4.
