About the position

The Director of Digital Product at Medica Services Company LLC is a pivotal leadership role responsible for co-leading the digital strategy for member, provider, employer, and broker experiences. This position involves overseeing the digital roadmap, enhancing services, and delivering on key performance indicators (KPIs). The director will foster a product culture that emphasizes strategic thinking, data analysis, and innovation through iterative processes. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to develop a multi-year strategic roadmap and articulate business cases to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Co-lead the definition and execution of the digital strategy for various audiences.
  • Oversee the Medica digital roadmap to enhance pre and post-authenticated services.
  • Deliver on digital KPIs and promote a product culture focused on strategic mindset and critical thinking.
  • Utilize data, insights, and customer feedback to develop a multi-year strategic roadmap.
  • Partner with UX and Engineering leads to develop best-in-class digital capabilities.
  • Create and champion a data-driven and customer-centric product vision and strategy.
  • Lead portfolio discovery and planning processes to identify enhancements and opportunities.
  • Build and advocate for business cases to support product vision and strategy.
  • Ensure portfolio investments are managed within approved budgets.
  • Instill a data-driven mindset within the Digital team and advance analytical skills across the organization.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual planning and budgeting.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in digital product management, preferably in a leadership role for at least 3 years.
  • Experience leading and developing a high-performing group of product managers.
  • Proven ability to manage product lifecycle from discovery to launch and support.
  • Deep understanding of strategy development, data analysis, and business case development.
  • Experience with software development and agile best practices.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills that compel action.
  • Ability to align peers and partners around a common vision.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in health care is preferred but not required.
