The Director of Digital Sales Strategy & Activation at Comcast Business is a pivotal role responsible for driving the omnichannel merchandising approach to enhance leads, sales, and overall growth for the business. This position encompasses overseeing the entire Marketing & Sales funnel, ensuring a seamless experience from customer awareness to the purchase process for both new and existing customers. A critical aspect of this role is to maintain a unified digital experience, which involves collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Legal, Development, Engineering, Design, Project Management, Operations, and UX teams. The Director will be instrumental in optimizing the go-to-market plans for both Small Business and Enterprise segments, ensuring that all digital strategies align with the overarching business objectives. In this leadership position, the Director will manage a team of five, including three Managers and two Senior Specialists, fostering their professional development and helping them achieve growth objectives. The role requires a deep understanding of the sales funnel, including the drivers of key performance indicators (KPIs), and the ability to establish actionable plans for growth and optimization. The Director will work closely with analytics teams to identify issues affecting lead quality and quantity, and will leverage both quantitative and qualitative research to recommend strategic optimizations. Additionally, the Director will navigate the digital ecosystem by developing a comprehensive understanding of site capabilities, history, and future vision, ensuring a cohesive customer experience from consideration to onboarding. This includes collaborating with division partners on promotions and ensuring that the self-service team is aligned with any changes to maintain a seamless customer experience. The Director will also oversee third-party relationships and tools aimed at optimizing site conversion rates and call analytics, while providing input on development items that support sales growth. Regular communication with cross-functional teams regarding site merchandising and strategy changes is essential, as is the ability to exercise independent judgment in significant matters. The role may require working nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.
