About The Position
Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) is seeking a Director of Distribution to oversee warehouse and delivery operations within a market. This role is crucial for ensuring that our distribution strategies align with company objectives and standards. The Director will be responsible for strategic planning, optimizing operational efficiency, minimizing costs, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. This position requires a strong leader who can manage staff and logistics partners effectively, implement technology and continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with other departments and corporate teams to ensure seamless supply chain coordination. In this role, you will develop and execute distribution strategies that maximize efficiency and service levels. You will act as a liaison with commercial partners to drive operational success, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement corrective actions as needed. Analyzing distribution costs and identifying cost reduction opportunities will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with implementing best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for process optimization. You will oversee inventory control and accuracy, recruit, train, and develop warehouse and delivery teams, fostering a culture of innovation and safety.
