About the position

This position provides leadership and direction in the design and implementation of business metrics and analytics to support organizational goals. The role involves leading a team to collaborate with stakeholders, offering consultative advice and analytic support to enhance growth and profitability initiatives, ultimately delivering meaningful business results.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends and assess their impact on business solutions.
  • Direct and enhance organizational initiatives by supporting change management and departmental initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce workloads or improve quality.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on complex assignments/projects to team members and stakeholders.
  • Lead the business insights and reporting team for Workplace Solutions using data to develop actionable insights.
  • Manage the revenue reporting function responsible for sales crediting and reporting key metrics monthly.
  • Build strong relationships across organizations to understand priorities and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Advise senior management on design issues and develop remediation plans.
  • Create dashboards and scorecards to provide quantifiable gauges of business results and performance.
  • Partner with teams to develop metrics and analytics that support changing business needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with data and IT organizations to advocate for business needs and set development priorities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for requirements and UAT testing for new data assets and analytic tools.
  • Champion analytics and educate the business to drive adoption and usage of data analytics.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.

Requirements

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's).
  • 7+ years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably group, including business analysis and development of metrics.
