About the position

The Director of Donor Development at March of Dimes is responsible for ensuring data integrity, analyzing reports, developing and stewarding donor relationships, and mobilizing supporters to drive mission impact and revenue growth. This role involves collaborating with market staff to execute fundraising events and establishing partnerships with various stakeholders to position March of Dimes as a leader in maternal and child health care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure revenue goal achievement through developing and stewarding donor relationships.
• Identify and secure market volunteer leadership to support mission impact.
• Generate and close leads for mission investment products in large or medium-size markets.
• Translate mission and advocacy into impactful communication for supporters.
• Maintain and grow a diversified donor revenue portfolio.
• Identify appropriate corporate partners and develop strategic alliances.
• Ensure best-in-class fundraising events that drive impact and acquire new supporters.
• Engage and inform volunteers year-round in meaningful opportunities.
• Hold direct reports accountable to productivity and profitability goals.
• Create a respectful and culturally diverse work environment.

Requirements

• Proven success in cultivating and securing major gifts.
• Demonstrated ability to work and cultivate relationships across various sectors.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
