The Director, Donor Marketing at York Blood Center Enterprises (NYBCe) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of seasoned marketing professionals dedicated to enhancing donor engagement and acquisition across various Blood Operations divisions. This position is crucial in operationalizing the Enterprise Donor Engagement strategies at the local level, ensuring that divisional marketing managers are empowered to execute targeted initiatives that align with the organization's product and service objectives. The Director will work closely with divisional Donor Recruitment and Collections teams to ensure that marketing strategies are effectively integrated into the overall operational framework. In this role, the Director will report directly to the Executive Director of Strategy and Planning, Donor Engagement, and will be responsible for translating the directives from Enterprise Donor Engagement leadership into actionable plans at the divisional level. This includes driving the execution of marketing strategies and tactics that bolster blood collections and other key performance metrics. The Director will also collaborate with Enterprise Donor Engagement leadership on both national and local campaigns, focusing on enhancing donor frequency and expanding the donor base. The Director will evaluate campaign performance and market dynamics, proposing necessary adjustments in response to evolving conditions. Additionally, the role involves optimizing media relationships and expenditures to support strategic objectives, reviewing partnership agreements, and media plans. The Director will provide relevant materials to operational and support departments to ensure their participation in marketing initiatives aligned with divisional objectives. Furthermore, collaboration with Corporate Communications will be essential to develop media communication strategies aimed at cultivating a sustainable donor base at the local level, while also evaluating the effectiveness of local advertising opportunities and partnerships.
