About the position

The Director of Engineering is a strategic leadership role within the hospitality team, responsible for managing the overall operation of the hotel's maintenance department. This position focuses on developing and implementing effective strategies to enhance departmental performance, asset protection, and capital expenditure management while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and management to the hotel's maintenance department.
• Develop and implement engineering operating strategies.
• Research and implement new products and technologies.
• Troubleshoot engineering challenges as they arise.
• Develop and oversee preventative maintenance plans.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
