The Director of Enterprise Data Architecture at Brown & Brown will play a pivotal role in leading the creation and operation of the Enterprise Data Architecture Program. The director will be responsible for defining and evolving the overall strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the enterprise Modern Data Platform. This includes leading a matrixed team to establish policies, standards, procedures, and patterns for data solutions across the organization. In this role, the director will develop and evolve the Modern Data Platform strategy, ensuring that it aligns with the business, technology, and data strategies. They will partner with the Chief Data Officer (CDO) and other teams to implement the Enterprise Data Strategy effectively. The director will also be tasked with creating business cases for the roadmap deliverables and maintaining compliance with data policies and standards. Mentorship and guidance will be provided to Data Solution Architects and division Data Architects and Data Engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that values creativity and problem-solving.
