About the position

As the Director of Enterprise Direct Sales at Comcast, you will be responsible for effectively directing and monitoring the sales of integrated communication structures to enterprise customers, including multi-site regional businesses and national accounts. Your primary goal will be to maximize sales revenues and consistently meet corporate objectives. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to develop Managers and Supervisors in the field operation area, ensuring that they are equipped to drive sales performance and operational efficiency. In this position, you will cultivate a consultative business-to-business sales culture through exemplary leadership and coaching. You will lead by example, embodying the Comcast Credo, Touchstones, and Promise. Your responsibilities will include coaching, reviewing, rewarding, motivating, and, when necessary, disciplining or terminating managers in the field sales, Sales Engineering, and Sales Support areas. You will evaluate the effectiveness of managers and implement necessary changes while addressing personnel and performance issues in accordance with company policy. A deep understanding of the company's products and services, pricing practices, and selling skills is essential for overseeing the regional sales deployment of new products and services targeting the enterprise segment. You will monitor and prepare reports and forecasts on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales results, utilizing your experience in processing and analyzing data. Additionally, you will develop, plan, and coordinate seminars, sales incentive plans, and other strategies to achieve business unit objectives. Your excellent written and oral communication skills, along with your interpersonal, planning, presentation, and organizational skills, will be crucial in establishing and cultivating effective business relationships across various functions and with Division and Corporate Business Services teams. You will manage and monitor Business Services and Enterprise Direct Sales channels within budgeted sales and expense targets, exercising independent judgment and discretion in significant matters. Regular attendance is required, and you must be able to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
  • 10+ years of relative work experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the company's products/services, pricing practices, and selling skills.
