We are looking for a skilled Director, Field Sales to join our Adventure Sports platform. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and execution of North American strategies for all Powersport Dealers/Customers in the East Region. This position will secure and maintain strategic Powersport parks and endemic properties/events that help build brand awareness with the loyal consumer. You will also be responsible for the planning, day-to-day operations, and management of east region sales reps in the U.S. The Director of Field Sales will partner with the West and Canadian Directors of Field Sales to lead the strategies for all categories. This will include the development, implementation, and execution for North America. You will work closely with senior management to ensure strategies are understood and executed against in the North American field to deliver annual Key Performance Indicators and set the team up for success. As the Sr. Director, Powersports North America, you will have an opportunity to develop plans to deliver annual net sales and contribution plans for the region. You will develop, coordinate, and execute sales objectives, strategies, and marketing programs to gain market share. Additionally, you will develop and lead strategy processes regarding the competitive environment, account sales/development strategy, and territory progression. You will aggressively research, identify, qualify, and target potential new accounts, delivering on a new account goal annually. Effectively managing all trade, visual merchandising, and selling expense budgets will also be part of your responsibilities. You will manage the overall planning process including strategic planning, target development, customer tactics, and retail execution goals, which includes MX Dealers, Independent Bike Dealers, Lifestyle customers, Parks, and Endemic Properties. Furthermore, you will manage the overall sales forecast process throughout the year to measure achievement vs. AOP and implement corrective actions as needed. Delivering Fox Freestyle placement goals will require you to manage the process from end to end by identifying targets, collaborating with the reps on financials, securing the contract, and executing for growth, ensuring the targeted ROI is delivered. You will work with the Finance Director to review and assess business opportunities as they emerge by leveraging financial data and understanding to inform trade spending and investment decisions. Understanding and leveraging key business data sources and drawing appropriate insights as well as internal reporting will be crucial. You will also be responsible for the development of Beach Head Markets, delivering above-plan growth in key markets, and developing and maintaining MX Raceways/Powersports Parks/Endemic Accounts. Lastly, you will lead and mentor a team of Outside Sales Representatives, providing guidance, setting performance goals, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
