About the position

The Director of Field Sales for Southwest California at Mastercard is a seasoned sales leader responsible for driving business growth in the region. This role focuses on engaging with senior decision-makers in Risk, Audit, and Information Security teams within enterprise organizations, presenting the value of RiskRecon and Mastercard Cyber Security Solutions. The position requires a proactive approach to new business acquisition, with a significant emphasis on building relationships and executing sales strategies to exceed revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt for new business opportunities, focusing on enterprise accounts.
  • Initiate and manage sales strategy and territory plan for penetrating and closing new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain senior relationships across targeted organizations.
  • Develop, initiate, and execute a sales plan for target accounts.
  • Provide weekly opportunity status updates and accurate forecasts to management, capturing relevant information in Salesforce.
  • Consistently exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with Channel partners and the RiskRecon Alliances team to drive pipeline growth and accelerate deal velocity.

Requirements

  • Enterprise software sales experience focused on new customer acquisition and pipeline growth.
  • Track record of success managing enterprise accounts and closing significant transactions with annual revenue over $1M ACV.
  • Previous success in an early-stage company growing the territory and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong organization skills and effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Self-starter capable of working effectively with a distributed team.
