The Director of Finance for eCommerce at L'Oreal is a pivotal role that provides strategic controlling leadership and partnership to the Sales team while collaborating with Brand, CDMO, and Corporate Finance. This position is designed to be the chief value creation officer for CPD Ecommerce, with a specific focus on platforms such as Amazon and TikTok Shop. The Director will be responsible for guiding financial strategies that enhance business performance and support decision-making processes across various teams. In this role, the Director will partner closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver financial guidance that drives business performance. This includes owning the financial budget by developing, implementing, and managing the annual budget, which involves rigorous analyses of sell-out and sell-in risks and opportunities. The Director will also be tasked with developing comprehensive multi-year financial models to evaluate the impact of business decisions and promotional activities, utilizing market-driven data to inform strategies. The position requires a deep understanding of P&L levers to optimize profitability through detailed P&L and ROI analysis. The Director will strategize and implement negotiation tactics while understanding the multi-year P&L impact of annual vendor negotiations. Additionally, the role involves oversight of total CPD ecommerce activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and adherence to compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or accounting, with supervisory experience, and will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
