As a Director of Finance Enablement, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our business growth by enhancing financial and operational processes. You will lead a dynamic team, driving the implementation of systems and process roadmaps that align with our strategic goals. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing the use of Workday tools and integrating acquired systems into our finance infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Develop, own, and drive implementation of systems/process roadmaps and strategy.
- Drive the Business Intelligence, Infrastructure, and Systems roadmap across Finance that optimizes the use of Workday tools.
- Analyze current finance systems and process footprint, recommending solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Liaise with multiple groups across finance and IT to facilitate integration of acquired systems/processes into Finance infrastructure.
- Drive implementation of projects to turn vision into reality and support the team in driving the Adaptive Planning roadmap.
- Proactively identify process improvements and implement solutions with a cross-functional team.
- Maintain Finance Systems data integrity and ensure proper communication between systems.
- Manage stakeholder engagements and serve as the primary partner with IT representing Finance.
- Facilitate governance and integrity of the Adaptive Financial Planning instance as it interacts with other planning instances.
- Lead and coach a high-performing Finance Enablement team.
Requirements
- BS in Finance, Accounting, MIS or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in finance, business analytics, and/or financial systems, with at least 3-4 years in a people leadership capacity.
Nice-to-haves
- Strong understanding of the software industry and its success metrics/drivers/processes.
- Software and/or internet industry experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and presentation skills; proven ability to dissect problems and recommend solutions.
- Solid work ethic and team player; ability to work independently and collaborate with peers and senior management.
- Intellectual curiosity; keen interest in escalating the role of finance via systems and process transformation.
