About the position
The Director of Finance, Planning and Analysis is responsible for strategic financial planning and analysis of potential new business opportunities related to capital investment. This role coordinates the completion of the annual capital budgeting process for WVU Healthcare and oversees construction project and other capital project accounting functions, ensuring detailed project financial tracking. Additionally, the director assists with structuring and securing financing arrangements and ensures ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements on tax-exempt debt.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for strategic financial planning and analysis of potential new business opportunities related to capital investment.
- Coordinates the completion of the annual capital budgeting process for WVU Healthcare.
- Oversees construction project and other capital project accounting functions.
- Ensures detailed project financial tracking.
- Assists with structuring and securing financing arrangements.
- Ensures ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements on tax-exempt debt.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration required.
- 5 years experience in accounting or finance.
- 2 years of demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
- Broad knowledge of all general and specialized finance areas.
Nice-to-haves
- CPA Certification.
- Master's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred.
- Experience in Healthcare preferred.
