About the position

As a Director at CrossCountry Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in our Business Transformation practice, working closely with Private Equity clients. This position involves managing client engagements, leading teams, and driving value creation through tailored integrated solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing multi-faceted projects, facilitating workshops, and ensuring exceptional delivery quality while nurturing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-faceted projects across the project lifecycle including current state evaluation, gap analysis, requirements gathering, future state design, and implementation.
  • Interact directly with Portfolio Company CFOs, Controllers, Operating Partners, and Deal Teams to identify and assess business obstacles within Finance and Accounting functions.
  • Lead client engagements and facilitate workshops to set strategic vision and build a roadmap of prioritized initiatives.
  • Execute engagements utilizing agile principles such as scrums, sprints, and kanban.
  • Assist portfolio companies with executing scalable 'buy-and-build' strategies by developing integration playbooks.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of clients' current processes and define future state processes.
  • Leverage knowledge of leading business processes and cross-functional dependencies to implement best practices.
  • Support various Business Transformation projects including system strategy, process improvement, and data analytics.
  • Provide senior account and project-level leadership to ensure exceptional delivery quality and client satisfaction.
  • Create thought leadership on transformation principles and oversee team performance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in professional services preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence for effective communication.
  • Experience delivering services to middle-market Private Equity Sponsors and their portfolio companies.
  • Proven experience in leading end-to-end transformation services across people, process, and technology.
  • Extensive experience with transactions and related integration activities.
  • Experience selling to and delivering for senior executive client leaders.
  • Understanding of end-to-end Office of CFO functions such as FP&A and Accounting.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and design thinking techniques.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or CSM certification is a plus.
  • Big 4 or similar consulting experience (MBB, Accenture) is preferred.
