About the position

The Finance Director at ETS is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing financial reporting for the K16 business unit. This position entails a comprehensive range of responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, financial analyses, strategic planning, and investment support. The Finance Director will work closely with various corporate units, particularly corporate finance and accounting, to define and report performance metrics that facilitate strategic decision-making. This role is crucial in ensuring that the K16 business unit aligns with corporate requests and effectively communicates financial insights to senior management. In this capacity, the Finance Director will lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring that the financial strategies align with the overall business goals. The role requires the development and presentation of recommendations based on thorough financial data analysis, which will support effective decision-making at the senior management level. Additionally, the Finance Director will coordinate changes between the K16 business unit and corporate finance, updating key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting categories to enhance transparency and business insights. The position also involves monitoring capital expenditures and tracking investment proposals, providing financial support and guidance to leadership across various product lines. As the key liaison between the K16 business unit and the Corporate Finance team, the Finance Director will lead coordination efforts for budgeting, reporting, and forecasting initiatives. Furthermore, the role includes managing a team of finance managers and analysts, driving process improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with ethical standards and applicable regulations. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President for K16 and plays a critical role in shaping the financial landscape of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough financial and data analysis and reporting to drive business insights and value for the SBU.
  • Direct budgeting, forecasting, and strategy processes for the SBU.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses and reporting to senior management as required.
  • Develop and present recommendations based on financial data to support effective decision-making.
  • Coordinate changes between the SBU and corporate finance, including updates to KPIs and reports.
  • Assist in developing overall business strategy and planning goals for assigned areas.
  • Monitor and report on capital expenditures and investment proposal submissions.
  • Provide financial support and guidance to SBU leadership and product leadership.
  • Act as the key point of contact for data and information between the SBU and the Corporate Finance team.
  • Lead coordination for budgeting, reporting, and forecasting initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee new initiatives that contribute to business goals.
  • Manage staff of finance managers and analysts.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and transformation projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required.
  • MBA in Finance and/or accounting preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant or other relevant professional certification strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, management, and reporting, including working directly with senior leadership.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role, including leading a strong analytical FP&A team.
  • Expertise in PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud, and MS Office.
  • Project management experience is required.
  • Strong analytical, management, presentation, and communication skills.
