About The Position

The Sr. Director of Food & Nutrition Services at White Plains Hospital is responsible for overseeing the daily food service operations, managing a team, and ensuring high-quality food offerings for patients. This role involves maintaining client relationships, managing profitability, enhancing patient experience, and fostering talent development within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of additional experience.
• Minimum of five years of proven leadership expertise.
• Experience working in an acute care hospital food service operation required.
• Two to four years of direct food service operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.
• ServSafe® certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day food service operations at White Plains Hospital.
• Manage and lead a team of employees in the food service department.

• Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Maintain excellent relationships with patients, faculty, guests, and clients.
• Promote professional growth and development of the team.
• Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate dining services with facility operations.
