About the position

The Director of Franchise Operations for the Pacific Northwest at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is responsible for fostering a culture of 'Owners First' by acting as a liaison between hotel owners and the company. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, enhancing operational excellence, and improving customer satisfaction across a portfolio of hotels. The Director will lead initiatives to expand revenue opportunities, maintain strong relationships with franchisees, and ensure the successful implementation of Wyndham's programs and services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to expand revenue generation opportunities and drive growth and performance for a portfolio of hotels.
  • Maintain and build relationships with franchisees and resolve complex challenges.
  • Make decisions impacting financial goals and operations.
  • Understand market conditions affecting hotel performance and identify revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Influence franchisees to engage in brand initiatives and recommend actions to improve guest satisfaction.
  • Drive participation in the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program and identify key opportunities for hotels.
  • Continuously learn new initiatives and industry trends to enhance the value proposition for franchisees.
  • Train and mentor field team members as needed.
  • Cultivate effective relationships with franchisees, general managers, and WHR associates.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree.
  • 6 to 8 years of progressive experience in a hotel as GM or related field, preferably with property and corporate management experience.
  • Multi-property experience.
  • Industry certifications.
  • 3-5 years of Wyndham Operations experience preferred.

  • Proficient at analyzing and organizing data for effective communication during franchisee visits.
  • Strong influencing skills to achieve operational results and owner engagement.
  • Fluent understanding of WHR tools and resources.
  • Ability to manage conflict and difficult conversations.
