About the position

The position is a senior role within the Marketing and Communications Department at Tradeweb Markets, responsible for managing and enhancing the company's brand and reputation. The role involves developing and executing strategic communications programs, managing media relations, and creating compelling content that aligns with Tradeweb's electronic trading products and market expertise. The individual will work closely with the Global Head of Communications to protect and advance Tradeweb's reputation through effective corporate and financial communications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage proactive media campaigns targeted to key financial and business press.
  • Handle inbound journalist inquiries to support market commentary and data attribution program.
  • Manage day-to-day agency relationships and contracts with key providers.
  • Serve as primary contact for industry research analysts.
  • Write, commission, and edit a range of markets and products content.
  • Conduct competitive media analysis, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Create interactive and compelling briefs for internal and external senior executive presentations or industry panel participation.
  • Create content for management team in conjunction with the employee communications team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in corporate communications, financial journalism, or agency.
  • Knowledge of or experience in financial markets, ideally in fixed income or electronic markets.
  • Excellent press contacts and rapport, and solid news judgement.
  • Strong writing and content development skills.
  • Excellent, incisive communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Digital/social media experience in an enterprise corporate setting.
  • A desire to learn about global markets and a positive attitude.

  • Experience working with PR/communications agencies (either in-house or agency side).
