About the position

The Director of Global Corporate Communications at Visa will lead the assessment, quantification, and tracking of key communication metrics to enhance the company's global reputation. This role focuses on measurement and reporting for essential functions related to press coverage, social media, and reputational metrics, requiring a data-driven approach to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong communication skills, working collaboratively with various teams to optimize public relations strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a center of excellence for measurement, real-time monitoring, and reporting for the Global Communications organization.
  • Define measurement goals and KPIs for communication metrics.
  • Optimize data presentation for the Communications organization and Leadership Team.
  • Analyze data to assess the impact and effectiveness of PR campaigns and activities.
  • Leverage analytics to identify effective public relations strategies for target audiences.
  • Manage vendor relationships supporting measurement and reporting workstreams.
  • Drive efficiencies and alignment around PR and reputation measurement across global teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to demonstrate the impact of key communications activities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or 3+ years with a PhD.
  • 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years with an Advanced Degree or 6+ years with a PhD (preferred).
  • 10 years of PR/communications experience.
  • Experience in measurement and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Financial payments industry experience preferred.
  • Strong independent, can-do attitude with inquisitive nature.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Confident and assertive in interactions with senior executives.
  • Self-driven and focused on delivering excellence.
