About the position

The Director of Global Corporate Communications will lead the assessment, quantification, and tracking of key communication metrics to enhance Visa's global reputation. This role focuses on measurement and reporting for critical functions such as press coverage and social media metrics, requiring a data-driven approach to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data related to public relations and reputation management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a center of excellence for measurement, real-time monitoring, and reporting for the Global Communications organization.
  • Define measurement goals and KPIs, optimizing data presentation for the Communications organization and Leadership Team.
  • Analyze data to assess the impact, effectiveness, reach, and overall performance of PR campaigns and activities.
  • Leverage measurement and analytics to identify effective public relations strategies for target audiences.
  • Manage vendor relationships that support measurement, monitoring, and reporting workstreams.
  • Drive efficiencies and alignment around PR and reputation measurement across global teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to demonstrate the impact of key communications activities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years with an Advanced Degree or 3+ years with a PhD.
  • 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years with an Advanced Degree or 6+ years with a PhD preferred.
  • 10 years of PR/communications experience.
  • Experience in measuring and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Knowledge of the financial payments industry is preferable.
  • Strong independent, inquisitive, can-do attitude.
  • Experience or knowledge in technology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Confident and assertive when interacting with senior executives.
  • Self-driven and focused on delivering excellence.
